Amazon is looking for a highly experienced Project Manager with a strong record of delivering complex global cross-functional projects. This role will have global scope, leading project execution to deliver operational and technical solutions for Finance Operation in the Global Retail AP procure-to-pay processes. This high-visibility role will require leading teams spanning across Tech, Retail, Operations, Finance and Accounting to deliver high impact projects supporting Amazon’s growth in Global Retail AP.
Ideal candidates will have experience effectively managing multiple priorities and projects of different complexity levels with ambitious schedule commitments. The candidate must demonstrate strong leadership skills, exceptional ability to influence, organizational expertise, and strong verbal and written communication skills. This individual needs to be comfortable interfacing and driving various functional teams and individuals at all levels of the organization in order to be successful. They must be comfortable working in a fast paced, ever changing environment and effectively build change management strategies into the programs supported. This individual is customer obsessed, exhibits strong ownership, and quickly earns stakeholder trust. Additionally, they index high on the ability to dive deep, deliver results, and have a strong bias for action.

You must be able to:
• Work cross-functionally and across geographies with stakeholders at all levels to support large-scale programs and initiatives.
• Lead others to drive ongoing program improvement projects based on process performance data, key metrics and customer anecdotes.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, as well as balance business needs versus technical and operational constraints.
• Establish project priorities, identify and communicate risks and mitigation plans in collaboration with stakeholders;

  • develop and maintain goals, milestones and completion dates.
    • Present to senior level stakeholders, process feedback and quickly apply necessary changes;
  • must be comfortable surfacing and resolving conflicting priorities or direction across diverse stakeholder groups.
    • Have a combination of practical and intellectual skills, as well as ability to rapidly shift and adapt to different tasks that vary between complex analyses, hands-on projects, and project management.
    • Take accountability while providing status, effectively remove barriers, and escalate issues that will impact the project delivery.
