Sr. Vice President of Engineering is a seasoned manager with a deep background in project management and delivery processes. He/She should have a good understanding of people management, resourcing, finance, budgeting and business development. The SVP is primarily responsible for executing seamless delivery across multiple programs and extending GlobalLogic business by taking part in pre-sales and other business development activities as well as identifying and developing new areas for company business.

15 years of total experience in IT in Engineering or QA
10+ years of experience in Project Management in Project Manager and Senior Project Manager roles
Expertise in managing organization with scale of 2,000+ engineers
Proven experience in large-scale delivery in offshore software development services
Experience in managing complex engineering projects, budgets and crisis management
Strong at prioritization and effort balancing for achieving seamless delivery of multiple programs in parallel
Strong knowledge of project management theory
Advanced planning skills
Strong business acumen
Having strong understanding of motivational principles and what drives people towards results
Capability to recognize weak points, risks, and dependencies, ability to address them
Fulfilling commitments and willingness to show initiative
Strong charisma and energy to build the team and drive it to success, be a role model.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills
At least Specialist or Master degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field
Fluent English

  • Job Responsibilities
    Ensuring seamless delivery on the projects in scope of the Delivery Unit Group
    Holding status meetings with the Division Heads on a regular basis
    Resolving escalations and critical situations on the project within Delivery Unit Group
    Participating in Quarterly Business Review on the largest accounts
    Conducting a regular analysis of the Delivery Unit metrics
    Distributing company strategy through cascading goals (KPG, MBO), initiatives and priorities down the management chain
    Facilitating a positive atmosphere within the management team
    Approving Program Director level promotions in the Delivery Unit Group
    Building strong, scalable and motivated Delivery Unit Management team of Directors and Division Heads, ensures that succession plans exist
    Monitoring management team performance and applying corrective measures where necessary
    Defining and managing priorities between multiple accounts and projects, resolving conflicts for resources within the DU and between DUs
    Managing and maintaining strong relationship with existing clients, supervising and supporting development and execution of accounts growth plans
    Engaging early with the Sales team to identify and assign Division Head and/or Program Director to new opportunities and ensuring delivery team’s readiness to support pre-sales and execute upon contract signing. Monitors sale
